Optim gets new Chief Executive Officer

Optim Health has a new CEO over the Optim System who will begin serving over the physician-owned Optim Medical Center-Tattnall, Optim Medical Center-Jenkins, Optim Medical Center-Screven, Optim Therapy, Optim Imaging and Optim Surgery Center.


David Castleberry has twenty years of experience in healthcare management and public relations in both Georgia and South Carolina. He has a business degree from Georgia State University and a MBA from Brenau University. Castleberry also serves on the Georgia Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees.

“I am excited to join Optim and impressed at the growth the company has experienced over the years, connecting patients throughout the region with great doctors and clinical services. I look forward to joining this great team and being a part of its continued success,” says Castleberry.

His resume includes time with Columbia/HCA Lanier Park Hospital as the Public Relations Manager, Health Management Associates,  Chief Operating Officer at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, and as the Chief Executive Officer at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC.
