Charleston finds ways to score, beats Rome 13-4

Rome only lost the hit battle 10-8 Monday night to start a short home series with Charleston, but the Riverdogs bested the Braves 13-4 where it mattered most. Starter Kolby Allard gave up the first six runs to the Riverdogs on five hits, and two walks in four innings. Two of the hits off Allard were homers.
