    Erin Brockovich Returns to Northwest Georgia Announces New Water, Soil, and Dust Testing Campaign in Rome, Ga. and Surrounding Counties. Famed consumer advocate, Erin Brockovich, will be returning to northwest Georgia for the first time in over a year to continue to speak about the dangers of “forever chemicals” found in nearby waters and meet with residents impacted by the contamination. After over 20 months of working in the region, the volume of testing in northwest Georgia has surpassed that of any other region in the country and reveals some of the highest levels of “forever chemicals” in the nation.
