With a diverse population and pathway programs that open the door to unique areas of study, Rome Middle School is a place where young minds are being prepared for success at the next level. Staying true to the mission of every student graduating from Rome High School prepared for college or work, RMS continues their standard of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.

We asked a few of our students why they feel that Rome Middle offers them a great education and more.

Karli Shaw – “My teachers at Rome Middle School are so encouraging and they push me to give my best effort. I also like to be rewarded when I do the right things in class. The positive encouragement motivates me to push even harder towards my goals. I am a football cheerleader and I play softball. My teammates on my cheerleading squad are close. I have found most of my friends here from playing sports. What is amazing is my classmates are just as encouraging as my teachers. When I see the work that Coach Harris at the high school level is doing, I see how much they push players to get better. Here at Rome Middle, I feel like we are building the foundation for a college career in softball. If you are looking for a school where everyone is like a family and bonding with new people is fun for you, then Rome Middle is the place for you. Rome Middle School has pushed me to be a better person and motivates me every day.”
