Packed with Pride: Why Wolves Love Rome Middle School, Jomary Vigoa

Rome City Schools is proud of the job their students and teachers are doing at Rome Middle School. With education at the forefront of all they do, administrators and teachers have worked hard to offer a learning experience that transcends the classroom.

With a diverse population and pathway programs that open the door to unique areas of study, Rome Middle School is a place where young minds are being prepared for success at the next level. Staying true to the mission of every student graduating from Rome High School prepared for college or work, RMS continues their standard of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.

We asked a few of our students why they feel that Rome Middle offers them a great education and more.

Jomary Vigoa (Virtual Learning) – “I love the extracurricular activities at Rome Middle School. All the things I get to participate in after school are so much fun. I am a part of our leadership program and I am also on our volleyball team. We are playing really well this year. I play every position on the court which has helped me to learn more about the game. Our leadership program helps around our school by doing things like recycling. I also get to meet a lot of new people, because we are asked to help with different events at our school. I would tell any student who was thinking of coming to Rome Middle that we have some fun programs, and amazing teachers and coaches. Even though I am learning virtually right now, my teachers have helped me to feel just like I am in class. Our teachers and our students always come together to help each other out and that is what I love most about my school.”
