First Friday Downtown Pep Rally August 2

The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority will host this month’s First Friday event, Downtown Pep Rally, August 2, 5:30 – 8:00 pm, on the courthouse lawn.

The pep rally will have local school marching bands, as well as football and cheerleading teams showing their school spirit. There will also be a performance by Cheer South All Stars.

Friday’s schedule:

• 5:30 Portal Middle High School will open the pep rally
• 6:00 Cheer South All Stars
• 6:30 Southeast Bulloch High School
• 7:30 Statesboro High School

In addition to the pep rally, there will be local vendors and food trucks. East Main Street will close at 3:00 pm.
