Tattnall County Road Closures & Name Changes – Feb 2017

The following road closure and name changes were approved by the Tattnall County Commissioners on February 6, 2017.

DISTRICT 1

• Rename portion of Frank James Hutcheson Road to Carl Williams Road
• Rename a portion of Herbert Holton Road to Holton Road
• Close Judge Findley Road
• Rename Levy Elfie Helmuth Road to Helmuth Road

DISTRICT 3

• Keep Banks Durrence Road open – maintain 30 foot right-of-way and remove pecan trees
• Name County Road 3737 Verona Threatt Road
• Close Hershel Thompson Road
• Rename Neil Smith Road to Foxboro Lane
• Close a portion of Oak Hill Road

DISTRICT 5

• Add Navy Road to the County Road System
• Close Maple Drive
• Name County Road 303 — Tison Precinct Road
• Name County Road 558 — Lyle Cemetery Road
