How did Tattnall County vote on Super Tuesday?

Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp reported that Tuesday’s voter turnout numbers exceeded previous records with a whopping 1.28 million Republicans casting their ballots and an additional 740,000 Democrats taking to the polls.


But how did Tattnall County vote?

Though several of the candidates had dropped out prior to Election Day, several of them still pulled in votes around Tattnall County. A total of 2,556 Republicans turned out with 681 Democrats.

REPUBLICAN

  • Donald Trump – 1,089 votes  (42.61%)
  • Ted Cruz – 725 votes (28.36%)
  • Marco Rubio – 457 votes (17.88%)
  • Dr. Ben Carson – 166 votes (6.49%)
  • John Kasich – 84 votes (3.29%)
  • Jeb Bush – 20 votes  (0.9%)
  • Rand Paul – 1 vote  (<1%)
  • Mike Huckabee – 7 votes  (<1%)
  • Chris Christie – 2 votes  (<1%)
  • Carly Fiorina – 0 votes  (0%)
  • Lindsay Graham – 1 votes  (<1%)
  • George Pataki – 0 votes (0%)
  • Rick Santorum – 1 vote  (<1%)

DEMOCRAT

  • Hillary Clinton – 518 votes – (76.06%)
  • Bernie Sanders – 153 – (22.47%)
  • Martin O’Malley –6 – (.88%)
  • Michael Steinberg – 4 (.59%)

Of the above totals, 58 voted early by mail and 615 voted early in person.
