Rome can’t find offense, loses to Greenville 3-1

The Rome Braves couldn’t get their bats started through the first six innings against the Greenville Drive on Friday night at State Mutual Stadium. A crowd of over 3,000 got to see the early workings of a no hitter, but unfortunately it was the other team’s pitcher doing the dealing. Rome managed to put a run across in the sixth inning as Carlos Castro scored on an Alejandro Salazar hit.
