Max Fried had a solid outing for Rome Friday night as he picked up his 4th win on the season. Fried recorded 9 strikeouts in six innings while giving up just one run on three hits.
He even got some help from the Rome bats. Bradley Keller knocked a homer, while Luke Dykstra, Justin Ellison, Bradley Keller, and Austin Riley all got RBIs. The hometown boys went 3-for-8 with runners in scoring position.
Second baseman, Luke Dystra continues to lead the team in batting average at .325 and is batting .432 in his last ten games. He’s also got the lowest strikeout ration in the South Atlantic League this season.
