High school football showcase June 15 at LakePoint

Cartersville Canes’ head football coach Joey King, along with the Cartersville High School football program will be hosting a high school football showcase this week.

The event will be held on the multi-purpose fields at LakePoint Sporting Community in Emerson on Wednesday, June 15 and is limited to 300 participants.

This is a one-day showcase for grades 9-12 and is for all positions. It will run through 3pm.

Participants will include guest coaches from NCAA D-1 schools, other collegiate levels as well, and coaching staff from Georgia Tech, Georgia, KSU, Georgia Southern, and Colorado State.

All participants will receive a t-shirt and are encouraged to dress in shorts and cleats. Quarterbacks and kickers are encouraged to bring their own footballs.
