News Release
Calhoun High School Long Snapper, Zane McCracken, was named one of the top performers at the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in Kennesaw, Georgia on Dec. 18.
McCracken, class of 2020, competed with approximately 100 participants from Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, South Carolina, Kentucky and Canada.
Snappers gathered at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia to learn from the best and get the most exposure possible to college coaches. Rubio Long Snapping will return to Georgia in early 2017.
“Zane McCracken was by far the best 2020 Long Snapper in attendance and it wasn’t even close,” said Chris Rubio.
“Form is exceptional as he has been with Rubio Long Snapper for about five years. He can already snap in the .6’s which is exceptional for his age. Zane is well above his age for talent level.”
Rubio is the Long Snapping instructor for Rubio Long Snapping, and has followers from all over the world; attending in mass to the sought-after camps and events offered across the country. In addition to these large camps, Rubio Long Snapping also offers private lessons. Over the past two years, Rubio has had over 260 snappers go to college.
