Calhoun-Gordon County Sports Hall of Fame to induct seven in 2016

The  Calhoun/Gordon County Sports Hall of Fame recently voted, and has announced its class of 2016 inductees.

This year’s class – the second annual – will consist of Maude Chattam, Michael Durham, Zeke McDaniel, Helen Jane McDonald, Kenneth Moore, Mike Nance, and Matthew Pitts, it was announced over the weekend.

The CGCSHF was formed in 2014 to honor Calhoun-Gordon County citizens who have made significant contributions to Calhoun and Gordon County as athletes, coaches, or in other sports related fields.
