Caleb Veitch of Lyerly was recently named to the President’s List at Kennesaw State University.
Veitch was among the more than 5,000 Kennesaw State students honored for academic excellence in the Fall 2020 semester. To be named to the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.
Veitch is majoring in Biology/Pre-Med.
As far as the transition from high school to college Veitch had this to say: “The transition from high school to college can be somewhat overwhelming in regards to being isolated from your family and childhood friends, as well as the intense work load in comparison to some former high school courses. However, once you find your educational and social niche, you will begin to blossom. Don’t be afraid of the hard work or independence associated with college; it only allows you to discover qualities about yourself that you may have never known otherwise.”
