Moore Named Staff NCO of the Year

Gunnery Segerant Rickey Moore, currently responsible for the Marine Corps recruiting office in Cartersville was named Staff NCO of the Year.

A 17-year veteran Marine, GySgt Moore has received numerous citations, among them the Navy Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Medal. Prior to his recruiting assignment Moore served as Assault Amphibious Battalion Maintenance Chief, and had one tour of duty as drill instructor at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.

Moore is a 1995 graduate of Chattooga High School.
