10 Year Old Arrested at Nevils Elementary for Threats

A 10 year old fourth grader was arrested today at Nevils Elementary School after he threatened another student and then told other students that he was going to “bring his father’s gun to school to shoot her”.

Today the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office School Resource
Deputy, Sgt. Jimmy Billings was notified by the administration of
Nevils Elementary School about a 10 year old student making threats
towards another student. The juvenile student threatened bodily harm
to another student by saying he was “going to shoot her”. The student
furthermore told some other students that he was going to “bring his
father’s gun to school to shoot her”. Immediately, Sgt. Billings was
advised of the threats in which he took swift action and made contact
with the student. After the initial investigation, it was confirmed the
student did in fact make the statements. Sgt. Billings arrested the 4th
grade student and charged him with 1 count of TERRORISTIC
THREATS. The juvenile arrested was transported to the Bulloch
County Jail where he was booked in on the charges. The juvenile will
be turned over to the custody of his parents and the case has been sent
to the Department of Juvenile Justice and the District Attorney’s
Office for further court proceedings. Should anyone have information
