While the Tattnall County Board of Elections cannot certify official results for Tuesday’s election until Friday, November 6, the preliminary vote totals are in, pending the receipt of outstanding absentee ballots.

Tattnall County Commission District 4 – to fill the seat of the late-Mourice Collins, Sr.


  • Timothy Bland – 145 (18.19%)
  • Mourice Collins, Jr – 194 (23.34%)
  • Rod Kirkland – 39 (4.89%)
  • Stephen Moore – 24 (3.01%)
  • Timothy Phillips – 82 (10.29%)
  • Wayne Tatum – 313 (39.27%)

 

ESPLOST 


  • YES – 1421 (75.38%)
  • NO – 464 (24.62%)

  • YES – 43 (43.43%)
  • NO – 56 (56.47%)

  • Danny Collins (I) – 66 (27.16%)
  • John F. Kennedy – 59 (24.28%)

GLENNVILLE MAYOR


 

  • Chris Roessler was uncontested as the incumbent, receiving 99.43% of the vote and 2 write in votes of 353 total.

  • Dorothy R. Berry – 105 (55.26%)
  • Linda P. Thomas – 85 (44.74%)

GLENNVILLE CITY COUNCIL – Ward 2


 

  • Dennis Strickland ran uncontested and received 52 of 53 total votes, or 98.11% of the vote.
