Rome Braves hang on to beat Greensboro 4-2
Another solid outing from Rome starter Patrick Weigel helped to earn the Braves a road win Thursday. Moving to 4-3 on the season, Weigel gave up no runs on seven hits, and struck out eight batters in six innings of work. Catcher Jonathan Morales picked up his third home run of the year, leading his team’s offense with two RBI’s. Shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder accounted for two of his team’s runs, getting on base with a hit, and once more with a walk.
