Charleston holds Rome scoreless as Braves lose 9-0

The Rome Braves could only manage four hits against the Charleston Riverdogs Tuesday night in a 9-0 loss on the road. Starter Ricardo Sanchez had a rough outing, giving up seven runs on eight hits in five innings, while striking out two and walking a pair of batters. Jon Kennedy had a couple of innings of scoreless relief before Bladimir Matos gave up two runs in the eighth inning.

A round night for the Rome offense with six of nine Braves batters going hitless.  Darien McLemore was the lone Rome player with multiple hits with two, half of the Braves offense in the game.
