Calhoun’s Rice named Under Armour All American

Calhoun High School’s Landon Rice has been named to the 2016 Under Armour All-America Football Game roster.

The four-star tight end recruit, who has been committed to Auburn since November of 2013, will join some of the nation’s top high school players on January 2, 2016 in Orlando in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

Originally from Rome, Rice will join only four other high school players representing the state of Georgia in the 2016 game.

The game that started back in 2008 annually features America’s elite high school football players who have been selected by ESPN Recruiting.

Some of notable past players to take part in the Under Armour game are Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Jadeveon Clowney, and Jameis Winston, among others.
