Big first lifts Lexington over Rome 5-4, despite Castro homers

A rough first inning for Touki Toussaint put the Rome Braves behind early on Thursday night at Lexington, leading to a 5-4 loss. Toussaint went four innings, giving up four runs – all in the first inning – on five hits, walked four, and struck out eight batters.

A hot-hitting Carlos Castro homered twice for Rome in the game – both solo shots.  These were his ninth and tenth of the season.
