Shaw breaks ground on new building in Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Shaw Industries broke ground on its three-story 67,000-square-foot $24 million new facility on Friday in Cartersville.

The new facility is the Create Center and will house associates dedicated to marketing, design and innovation for its commercial division. It’s slated to open in late 2017.

“The Create Centre will provide the ideal setting for our talented team members to create, dream, collaborate, and solve challenges,” said Brenda Knowles, vice president of marketing & product development.

According to Shaw, this brand new $24 million facility represents the company’s ongoing investment in it’s commercial business. Shaw has invested more than $85 million over the past several years, opening new showrooms throughout the world, and growing their commercial sales teams.
