Preliminary information indicates that Gordon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 558 Mt. Zion Road, Resaca, Georgia after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance at this residence. Upon arrival, deputies located the female victim, later identified as Krystal Lynne Jones, age 37, of the domestic violence and were confronted by Dwight Juliuse Jones, age 39. Dwight Jones immediately began shooting at the responding deputies and Krystal Jones. Krystal Jones was struck multiple times.
