As part of Georgia History Festival’s statewide celebration of “Super Museum Sunday”, over a dozen State Historic Sites are offering free admission on February 6, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
The statewide event, sponsored by Delta, is to spotlight Georgia’s fascinating past.
“Explore more than 100 sites in person and online during Super Museum Sunday. Georgians and visitors alike experience our state’s rich history and cultural life as historic sites, house museums, art museums, and other points of interest throughout Georgia open their doors for an exceptional opportunity to experience the history in our own backyard.”

Another event that is part of Georgia History Festival’s celebration is Colonial Faire and Muster, which takes place February 5 and 6, and is sponsored by Georgia Ports Authority. This event is at Wormsloe State Historic Site in Savannah, and is also free and open to the public. Click HERE for more information.
