Trion High School Game Day Cheer team finish as GHSA State Runner-up.
The team competed Saturday for the GHSA Game Day State Championship at Carrollton High School in the A-AA division.
Teams compete in three areas for the preliminary round: band chant, fight song, and crowd leading cheer. In the finals, these segments are combined into a three minute routine with a situational offense/defense added by the announcer.
