The Chattooga Lady Indians defeated Model 53-35 at Model on Senior Night for the Blue Devils. Makiya Parrish was the lead scorer with 12 points, FaithAnn Foster added 10 points, and Neveah Morgan contributed 9 points in the victory.
“Model at Model, on Senior Night, what a battle! Coach Echols does a great job preparing her players for whatever you throw at her,” Chattooga Lady Indians Head Coach Alvah Beasley said.
“Our players weathered the first half storm and at half time we made a few adjustments to our defense. Our defensive adjustments allowed us to play the game at our pace. When we play at our pace and have balanced scoring we’re a pretty fun team to watch,” Beasley said.
The Lady Indians defense only allowed 15 points in the second half.
Up next for the Indians will be a matchup with Woodland High School Wednesday at Armuchee High School the game is set to begin at 4 pm in the old school gym.
