Most students who graduated from Georgia Highlands College (GHC) this month had long had their high school diplomas in hand, but Anna Grace Whitt hasn’t even seen hers yet.
Whitt, participated in GHC’s dual-enrollment program and accepted her Associate’s degree in Science during commencement ceremonies May 11 at the Forum River Center in Rome, 14 days before receiving her high school diploma from Trion High School.
Whitt graduated GHC Summa Cum Laude.
Anna Grace Whitt is the second student in Trion City Schools’ history to graduate with an associate’s degree two weeks before receiving her high school diploma.
Whitt will attend Kennesaw State University in the Fall.
