Statement for March 31, 2021.

Retention Bonuses to three groups of employees who were not included in the
CARES Relief Funds provided by the Georgia Department of Education.
3. Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the purchase of
two new school buses.
4. Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation for approval to spend up to
$100,000.00 from the SPLOST-GOB Series 2018 Fund, for maintenance needs and
current projects.
E. Educational Programs, Student Support and Staff Development
1. Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the following
changes to the 2021-2022 School Calendar:
-Adding 2 Professional Learning Mondays (11/01/2021 & 03/21/2022)
-Adding 1 additional Post Planning Day (06/03/2022)
-Correction: On previously approved School Calendar, October 31, 2021 was listed as
a Monday. It is actually a Sunday.
2. Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the following
school bus request:
Chattooga County 4-H Agent, Zach White, has requested to use one school bus from
06/02/2021 through 06/03/2021. They will be transporting 40 students to Rock Eagle
4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia for the Junior/Senior District Project Achievement.
