Pedestrian Struck at Hurley Crossing

An incident involving a vehicle and  a pedestrian on a bicycle occurred around 5:30 pm today at the main entrance to Marvin’s Hardware Store. Georgia State Patrol and the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office responded.

The extent of the damage to the vehicle and  bike are unknown, the pedestrian was uninjured. Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Woods, “both individuals involved walked away unhurt.”

The driver of the vehicle loaded up the pedestrian’s bike and gave him a ride home.
