Mr. Jerry Melvin Brown, age 74, of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Brown was born February 26, 1946, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Melvin E. and Minnie Nell Donald Brown.  He was Baptist by faith and was self-employed in the auto body repair industry.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Donnie Sue Brown; son, Jerry Eugene “Bear” (Lora) Brown; brother, Wayne (Martha) Brown; grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Baylee (DaKota) Crowe, Trent (Macy) Wilson, Casin (Amanda) Rogers; great-grandchildren, Ellie Crowe, Oaklin Crowe, Hailey Rogers, Ryan Holzer, Knox Wilson, Leigha Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2020, at Garrett Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Barrett officiating.  Pallbearers will be Mason Eller, Casey Brown, and Dewayne Howell.

The Brown family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C.D.C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
