Community Resource Center of Chattooga (CRC) wants to give a huge thank you to North Georgia EMC Operation Roundup. From their support, the organizations has been able to fill the empty space here at CRC with food.
This food is especially needed due to the Georgia EBT Pandemic funds ending. Not only has CRC been able to purchase food to fill up their boxes, but they have also purchased what now feels like a necessity to the volunteers at CRC- rolling shelves.
These shelves make lifting heavy boxes of food much easier on volunteer’s backs. This is made possible in whole by the generous donations of participating NGEMC members in the Operation Roundup program.
“On behalf of Community Resource Center of Chattooga here at Esther Manor, I just want to give a great big thank you to North Georgia EMC Operation Roundup and all of the customers that helped contribute that fund. You guys are helping to fight hunger here in Chattooga County but not only that, you’re also feeding hope.” says Angela Hutchins, Executive Director of CRC.
