Ministry Hosting Community Wide Baby Shower

Glori Boyd, founder of Far Above Rubies Women’s Ministry, will be hosting a community wide baby shower, for Chattooga County, sponsoring 31 expectant mothers.

If you would like to contribute to the shower donated items can be dropped off at the Tax Commissioners Office, or you can make arrangements with Glori through Facebook. She also has a Facebook Fundraiser set up, and an Amazon Baby Registry for convenience. Any registry items will be shipped directly to Glori.

Any baby essentials are needed! No gift is too big or too small. Please drop off the items unwrapped and in their original packaging so that all items can be distributed equally among the mothers.
If there are any churches or ladies groups that would like to make a “pamper me” bag for the 31 mother’s to be, that is welcomed and appreciated as well.
Donations can be made from now until March 5th.

“I’ve always wanted to help the community in this capacity, but didn’t know how or what to do. I prayed about it and here we are. Chattooga County has done so much for me in all my ministry and mission efforts, so I just wanted to pay it forward. This is what community and missions are about…Loving and Helping others,” Boyd said.
