Christmas Trees In The Park

Chattooga County residents are invited to take part in a special tree lighting project for Christmas. Please join as schools, churches, businesses, and individuals in lighting up Dowdy Park for the holidays with “Christmas Trees In The Park.” Please call and make your reservation.  A stake and sign will be provided for $15.00.    

Each participating school, organization, and individual will be responsible for purchasing their tree, bringing it to the park, and decorating it with lights and décor of your choosing at a predetermined area that will be marked with a numbered wooden stake.

Helpful Tips: They suggest LED Lights. Secure decorations with zip ties or floral wire. Weather proofing ornaments is suggested if possible. Use your imagination!

Please Note: ​  Themed Tress Must Be In Good Taste In Honor Of the Holidays.
