      A.  Resolutions/Recognitions

            1.  Kari Groce, a fourth grade Teacher at Lyerly Elementary School, has been chosen as

                 Chattooga County School’s district-wide Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021. Being

     chosen at the district level now qualifies her as a candidate for Georgia Teacher of

     the Year.  Mrs. Groce will receive $500 from the Chattooga County Board of

     Education.  Also, Peach State Credit Union will be presenting her with another gift at

     a later date.

      B.  School Board Members

            1.  (non-action item) Brief on first 9 weeks perfect attendance.

2.  (non-action item) Discussion about 2020 Board Meeting dates and times.

      C.  School Board Policies: NONE

D.  Financial Management

     1.  Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the Financial

          Statement for October 31, 2019.

     2.  Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the SPLOST

          Referendum for the March 24, 2020 ballot.

E.  Educational Programs, Student Support and Staff Development

    1.  Board consideration of Superintendent’s recommendation to approve the following

          three Bus Requests from Chattooga County 4-H:

        -4-H Coordinator, Zach White and 2 other chaperones will be taking 50 fifth and sixth

​      Grade students to the 4-H District Project Achievement Competition at Georgia

​      Highlands College in Rome, Georgia on 01-25-20.

        –4-H Coordinator, Zach White and 4 other chaperones will be taking approximately 50

         7th-12th grade students to the Junior/Senior District Project Achievement Competition

         at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia.  They will leave on 02-28-20 and

         return on 03-01-20.

      –4-H Coordinator, Zach White and 5 other chaperones will be taking 80 fifth and sixth

       Grade students to Cloverleaf Camp at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton,

        Georgia. They will leave on 06-01-20 and return on 06-05-20.
