The Statesboro Police Department arrested three suspects in connection to an incident of attempted burglary at a local business.
The following information was provided in the press release issued by SPD:
On 5/29, at approximately 2:08 am, officers of the Statesboro Police Department responded to TC Outdoors in reference to an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, officers began searching the area for possible suspects.
An officer encountered two subjects walking away from the direction of the business and conducted a field interview. One subject was identified as Raymond Lee, age 18 of Statesboro. The other subject was a 13 year old, male juvenile. Both Lee and the juvenile fit the description of subjects seen in the surveillance video of the incident and further investigation uncovered physical evidence linking the two subjects to the incident. Both subjects were arrested without incident.
Through investigation, detectives of the Statesboro Police Department identified a 16 year old, male juvenile as a third suspect in this incident.
On 6/6, the 16 year old juvenile suspect was arrested by officers of the Statesboro Police Department’s Impact Team with out incident.
