SEGA Construction & maintenance activities scheduled this week – Aug 26-31

Georgia Department of Transportation continues to improve highway infrastructure throughout Southeast Georgia. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue this week, starting Sunday, August 25. Major projects of interest that will likely impact traffic are listed below.

All work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.

Interstate 95
I-95 at Exit 76 in Liberty Counties
Exit 76/US 84 nightly ramp Sun-Sat 7 pm to 7 am
Traffic Detoured to next exit then reverse direction on I-95

I-95 Southbound in Camden County

Double Lane Closure for Milling and Resurfacing
Sunday through Thursday 7 pm to 7 am

Interstate 516
Exit 5 EB ramp closure in Chatham County
Sunday, August 25 10 pm – 4 am for guardrail repair
Detour via Exit 4, Tremont Rd., I-516 WB, Exit 5

Bulloch/Candler County
Candler/Emanuel County line to SR 67 Overpass
Daily/Nightly single lane closure for a lane shift
Monday through Saturday 7 am to 7 pm

Bryan County
SR 144-Widening Project
Rabbit Hill Road Closure
Detour via Rabbit Hill Rd. to Port Royal Road
In place until pipe Installment is completed

US 80 from Ogeechee River to the Bulloch County line
Nightly lane closures with flaggers for paving operation
