The Bulloch County Farm Bureau Young Farmers Association is partnering with Nevils United Methodist Church to collect aid items for delivery in Adel. The group is asking for assistance from the community as well.

A truck from Bulloch will deliver immediate relief items WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25th. Any items collected after close of business on Tuesday will be delivered later this week.

Bulloch County resident and farmer Jarrod Creasy of 920 Cattle & Company has been in communication with a local church in Adel to ensure the necessary items are collected and distributed to those in need.

The group is asking for donations of the following items:

  • bottled water
  • toiletries
  • washcloths
  • towels
  • new underwear (children and adult)
  • pillows
  • laundry detergent
  • peanut butter
  • jelly
  • ketchup, mustard, mayo
  • plastic containers
  • paper products
  • gift cards
  • Girls and boys clothes – especially 9-12 months and boys size 16-18
  • Plus size clothing for women and men

These items can be dropped off at the following locations:

STATESBORO: Bulloch County Farm Bureau or Anderson’s General Store
STILSON: Mike Strickland at the Country Corner Feed and Seed

Monetary donations can be made to Nevils UMC and any checks simply need “Adel Tornado Relief” written in the memo. Those donations will be used to purchase chainsaw blades, diesel fuel, and other clean-up supplies.
