Hosted by Downtown Statesboro Development Authority, the 14th Annual Party Impressions Scare on the Square is this Saturday, October 14, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, on East Main Street, which will be closed to through traffic starting at 7:00 am.
The event is for all ages and is free. There will be lots of activities set up from the courthouse lawn down East Main, and include candy land alley, a sensory station hosted by Word of Mouth Therapy, spooky house, hayride by Mockingbird’s Turf, trunk-or-treat, trick or treat in downtown businesses, food trucks, and more. The Bulloch Literacy Council’s Book Bus will be there with free books. The costume contest has several age categories and a family category. A variety of prizes have been donated by local businesses – Party Impressions, Galactic Comics, Starbucks, Corks Kettle Corn, CORE Credit Union, Party Harbor, Bulloch County Literacy Council, Jonny Boy Cookies, Three Tree Coffee, Jaxe + Grace Boutique, Pladd Dot Music, El Sombrero, Honey Catering, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Chick-Fil-A, Cindy Lou’s Dos, and Wavee Shavee Ice.
