Statement from Brooklet City Hall “There will be no comment”

City officials at Brooklet City Hall were asked Wednesday if there was any comment on the stories recently highlighted on AllOnGeorgia involving citizens, motorists, and a few officers once employed (and still compensated) by the Brooklet Police Department, but an e-mail sent just after lunch on Wednesday indicates that those hoping for a comment will just have to continue hoping.

Ahead of the response by the city, seven articles had been published by AllOnGeorgia in regard to the Brooklet Police Department. You can find each one below.

AllOnGeorgia sent two emails and made attempts by phone to obtain a statement from City Hall, specifically asking if there was a comment, a desire to seek more information, or to reassure citizens of the process currently taking place in the police chief search. City Administrator Angela Wirth said by email Wednesday ‘There will be no comment from the city of brooklet.”
