County Budget Public Hearing on $3.1 Million Increase, Commissioner says No Questions Allowed

Chattooga County Sole Commissioner Jason Winters (R) announced that tomorrow, Friday, December 15th he would hold a county budget hearing at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Commissioner’s Office. The public is invited to attend, and make comments about the budget but the sole commissioner will not answer or take any questions.

The 2018 budget Winters has proposed is an increase of over $3.1 million. The 2017 budget was $10,884,081, the 2018 budget is $13,999,142 an increase of $3,115,061.
