Chattooga Softball: here’s to the seniors

With softball season ending for Chattooga High School, AllOnGeorgia would like to highlight this years seniors. In the playoffs Chattooga went 2-2. The girls beat Mount Pisgah and Barrow Arts. They lost out to Prince Avenue.

Head Coach Jeff Bennett said, “I am so proud of our seniors with the leadership they lead our team. Libby Ann and Ally have been 4 year starters and have been to the state playoffs each year and also went to Columbus their sophomore year. Kaymin has been with us 3 years , Katie and Sophie two years. They also have been  a big part of us going to the state playoffs.These 5 young ladies will be truly missed. They have kept our tradition going.”

Libby Ann Veatch has been apart of the team for four years. Her favorite memory is when she hit a walkoff against Trion to win the game at home in the 2022 season.

Kaymin Calaway has been apart of the team for three years. Her favorite memory was playing a great game against Trion this year and winning the game they played them at home.

Katie Hogue has been apart of the team for two years. Her favorite memory has been beating Trion at home this season during a great game.

Sophie Webb has been apart of the team for two years. Her favorite memory has been playing amazing in the Trion game at home to gain the win.

Ally Croy has been apart of the team for four years. Her favorite memory has been her grand slam in the Sweet 16 at Berrien County.

Chattooga Lady Indians ended their season 14-11. The girls finished 3rd in region and got to attend the super regionals.

Libby Ann Veatch is a talented and passionate senior at Chattooga High School who worked with the Indian Lore for three years. She is a member of the Lady Indian Softball team, Attack Fast Pitch, and FCCLA. After high school Libby Ann plans to go to cosmetology school and become a hair stylist.
