Veterans Memorial Parkway New Signalized Intersection Goes Live This Week

Georgia DOT announced Wednesday, August 31 activation of a new signalized intersection on US 25 Bypass/Veterans Memorial Parkway at Cypress Lake Road in Bulloch County.

Intersection improvements have been permitted to Bulloch County at this location and the developer has installed and bagged the new signals. This signalized intersection will provide pedestrian crosswalks and flashing yellow arrows in the left turn lanes to enhance safety and optimize operational efficiency.

Message boards will be placed to alerting motorists of this new traffic signal location and activation date. Local law enforcement will handle traffic control during activation to enhance safety. This signal activation is weather contingent and subject to change.

Motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices, signs and posted speed limits to ensure safe passage through the new traffic signal location.
