How did Bulloch County vote on Super Tuesday?

Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp reported that Tuesday’s voter turnout numbers exceeded previous records with a whopping 1.28 million Republicans casting their ballots and an additional 740,000 Democrats taking to the polls.

But how did Bulloch County vote?

Though several of the candidates had dropped out prior to Election Day, several of them still pulled in votes around Bulloch County. A total of 8,242 Republicans turned out with 3,147 Democrats.

REPUBLICAN

  • Trump – 3,111 votes  (37.7%)
  • Ted Cruz – 2,147 votes (26%)
  • Marco Rubio – 1,764 votes (21.4)
  • Dr. Ben Carson – 651 votes (7.9%)
  • John Kasich – 447 votes (5.4%)
  • Jeb Bush – 60 votes  (<1%)
  • Rand Paul – 20 votes  (<1%)
  • Mike Huckabee – 18 votes  (<1%)
  • Chris Christie – 9 votes  (<1%)
  • Carly Fiorina – 8 votes  (<1%)
  • Lindsay Graham – 5 votes  (<1%)
  • George Pataki – 1 vote (<1%)
  • Rick Santorum – 1 vote  (<1%)

DEMOCRAT

  • Hillary Clinton – 1,910 votes – (60.69%)
  • Bernie Sanders – 1,221 – (38.8%)
  • Martin O’Malley – 7 – (.22%)
  • Michael Steinberg – 9 (.29%)

Of the above totals, 130 Bulloch County residents voted early by absentee and 1,339 voted early in person.
