Coach Brown Releases 2020 Trion Football Schedule

Trion Football Head Coach Justin Brown has released the 2020 football schedule for the Bulldogs.

There are changes to the schedule due to the GHSA’s reclassification and vote to split Class A into public- and private-school divisions, each with eight regions. In A-public Region 6 Trion will be in a six team region with Armuchee, B.E.S.T Academy, Bowdon, Gordon Lee, and Mt. Zion (Carroll).

Brown says he’s pretty happy about the schedule.  “I think the first thing noticeable is the absence of private schools.  We have some new opponents this year.  Model, Cedar Bluff, South East Whitfield, will all be new non region opponents for us.  Armuchee was on our schedule last year and are now in the region.  B.E.S.T. Academy will be a new region opponent for us.  I think it’s pretty cool that we will have Gordon Lee for our last regular season game.”
