GBI: Investigating Skeletal Remains Located in Fairburn, Georgia

The GBI is investigating skeletal remains found in a wooded area of Fairburn, Georgia. 

On Tuesday, April 06, 2021, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the CSX Railroad Police Department to investigate skeletal remains found on CSX – Fairburn Ramp property, located at 6700 McLarin Road in Fairburn.  The remains were located in a wooded area and were found by personnel associated with CSX.  GBI agents collected the remains and turned them over to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.  No identity of the deceased or cause of death has been made at this time.
