New Rankings: Top 10 Colleges & Universities in Georgia

High schoolers around the state – and nation – are filling out college applications for Georgia colleges and universities, but which ones are among the best?

Financial analysis website WalletHub recently compared nearly 1,000 higher-education institutions in the U.S. based on 30 key measures grouped into seven categories, such as Student Selectivity, Cost & Financing and Career Outcomes. The data set ranges from student-faculty ratio to graduation rate to post-attendance median salary.

After doing so, the website listed these colleges and universities as the Top 10 in Georgia:

  1. Georgia Tech
  2. Emory University
  3. University of Georgia
  4. Mercer University
  5. Piedmont College
  6. Berry College
  7. Spelman College
  8. Georgia Colle & State University
  9. Oglethorpe University
  10. Covenant College
