The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Foundation has received a $25,000 contribution from AT&T to support the expansion of digital access and literacy for underserved students participating in Georgia’s Dual Achievement Program.
The investment will provide students ages 16 to 21 with loaner computers and digital literacy training—equipping them with the tools and foundational skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. The Dual Achievement Program offers an alternative path for students to earn a high school diploma while simultaneously pursuing a technical college credential.
“At AT&T, we believe in unlocking opportunity through connectivity and education,” said Gary Sanchez, South Georgia Regional Director, External Affairs, AT&T. “Through this contribution, we are proud to support TCSG’s Dual Achievement Program and help more young Georgians develop the digital skills they need to learn, grow, and compete in today’s economy.”
This contribution directly supports AT&T’s broader mission to narrow the digital divide by investing in learners at home, in the classroom, and at work. By supporting students who may not have reliable access to technology, the initiative helps close opportunity gaps and opens pathways to academic and career success.
“TCSG is grateful for AT&T’s investment in our students and their futures,” said Greg Dozier, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia. “The Dual Achievement Program is helping more young people stay on track to graduation while preparing for in-demand careers, and this support will remove barriers for those who need access to digital tools and training.”
The TCSG Foundation advances the mission of Georgia’s 22 technical colleges by supporting scholarships, workforce programs, and innovative initiatives that increase educational access and impact. AT&T’s donation will ensure more students can participate in the Dual Achievement Program with the resources they need to thrive.
