Summerville All-Stars are State Bound

The 11 and 12 year old girls Summerville All-Stars won the District Championship game last night in convincing style, defeating Fannin County 49-21.

The girls now will focus on the upcoming State Tournament that will be played March 4th and 5th at Calhoun Middle School. Coach Mosley said the keys to success in the 7 team State Tournament will be, “continue to play smart defense and continue putting those points on the scoreboard.”

“Teamwork is the key to success for every team. This group of girls has showed tremendous teamwork throughout the season,” said Mosley. Team members are Madison Hutchins, Sada Williamson, Makiya Parrish, Jenna Mosley, Justine Gladney, KeyMonica Wedgeworth, Nevaeh Morgan, Kayleigh Byars, Tia Dunaway, and Tyiana Scales.
