National Junior Rodeo Qualifiers

 

Two local cowboys, Colton McCary and Kyler Wells, will be participating at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in Perry, GA June 19-25. Colton and Kyler are members of the Georgia Junior High Rodeo Association and are both students of Summerville Middle School.

Colton McCary is 14yrs old and was a State Finals qualifier at GJHR in Goat Tying, Breakaway and Jr Bull Riding which was held May 26-27 in Perry , GA at the Georgia National Fair Ground. At State Finals he placed second in the Jr Bull Riding as Reserved Champion, earning him a spot to represent Georgia at the National Finals.

Kyler Wells is 12 years old and was also a State Finals qualifier at GJHR in Goat Tying, Breakaway, Team Roping and Ribbon Roping. At State Finals he placed third in Team Roping and third in Ribbon Roping, earning him a spot to also represent Georgia at Nationals.

We want to congratulate these two cowboys and wish them the Best of Luck at Nationals. National Junior High Finals Rodeo will be held at the Georgia National Fair Ground in Perry, GA, June 19-25 and will also be live on the Cowboy Channel.
