Baconton Charter falls 10-0 at the hands of the 2016 Trion Bulldogs Baseball

 

The Trion Bulldogs beat Baconton Charter in game two 10-0 in five innings. This was the Bulldogs 22nd win for the season, and counting. For the Senior group on the team, their 70th win.

The Trion Bulldogs  scored four runs in the fourth on the 2016 Trion Bulldogs Baseball scored in the fourth on an RBI double by Evan Walker, a passed ball, a passed ball, and an error.

Gabe Howell put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the 2016 Trion Bulldogs Baseball. He tripled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and doubled in the fourth inning.

The 2016 Trion Bulldogs Baseball’s Walker kept Baconton Charter off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up six.

The 2016 Trion Bulldogs Baseball never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring four runs on three singles.

Head Coach Jason Lanham commented that his, “Dogs keep taking care of business!”
